Cáirde Rás Tailteann is thrilled to share the last of our sponsors for the 2023 edition of the race, and announce an enhanced collaboration with Bective Stud who have returned in 2023 to sponsor the coveted General Classification Yellow Jersey.
Bective Stud is recognised within equestrian circles, and for its high-quality accommodation and facilities offerings. Located in Balgil, Navan, Co. Meath, Bective Stud is owned by the Moran family who have worked tirelessly since 2016 to restore it back to its former glory and beauty. The courtyard stables have been repurposed into modern accommodation to complement its equestrian centre and associated facilities. Today, the stables are proud to house some of Ireland’s most famous thoroughbred racehorses as residents.
On announcing this enhanced collaboration in 2023, Race Director Gerard Campbell commented “Cáirde Rás Tailteann is delighted that Bective Stud have returned to An Rás Tailteann 2023 and step up to sponsor the coveted yellow jersey classification. An Rás Tailteann shares a similar evolution with Bective Stud, both having surmounted multiple challenges in recent years in the pursuit of re-establishing themselves. Bective Stud also promotes similar sporting heritage and values, and strives for excellence in equestrian sport just as we endeavour to do within cycling”.
Bective Stud owners Noel & Valerie Moran commented “We at Bective Stud see many parallels with An Rás Tailteann and are proud to support this race again in 2023. Local sports and community is at the heart of what we do, and the Rás is a shining example of this ethos. We’re really excited to watch the action when it kicks off on May 17th”.
Rás Tailteann 2023 will officially commence from the gates of Bective Stud @ 12pm on May 17th where a fan zone has been erected to mark the occasion. Cáirde Rás Tailteann invite spectators to attend to catch a close-up glimpse of the riders, and to experience the nervous energy ahead of the Grand Départ!
