The Kinesis UK race team are heading into the 2008 FDB insurance RAS under no illusions that it will be the hardest race of their year so far. However the team have already suprised some of the more established names in the British peleton and hope to do the same in Ireland. The young squad is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting in the UK and want to bring that attacking style to the RAS with their five riders.

Kit Gilham will start on the back of an amazing fifth placed ride in the Lincoln GP las week as well as a strong start to 2008 which has seen him become one of the strongest riders of the British scene.

James Sampson
Former National Junior TT Champion James Sampson has also had a good start to the season with strong individual performances in the Premier Calander in tough events such as the Tour of the Reservoir and Bikeline 2 day.

Matt Cronshaw has already shown he is capable of getting on the podium with a third place in a stage of the 2008 Girvan, a race notorious for its severity. However the young rider is equally at home with more agressive punchy racing as his bronze medal at the National Criterium proved.

Former GB mountain biker Tom Last has switched his attention to the road this year and is fast becoming one of the young riders to watch. Had he not raised his arms to early in the Chas Messenger he would have achieved the team's first Premier Calander win, but as it was second place was an excellent result for the rider and his team.

The final member of the squad is Canada's Josh James, the only rider from Kinesis to have previously competed in the RAS. Josh hopes to share this experience with the rest of the team as well as use his talent as a sprinter which recently saw him lead the points competion at the Chas Messenger Stage race.
