More International Teams Confirmed Ras 2023
Cáirde Rás Tailteann are delighted to welcome the Irish National Team that will compete in this year’s Rás Tailteann.

Rás Tailteann will see Irish U23 riders get an opportunity to showcase their talent under the guidance of U23 Programme Lead and DS, Martyn Irvine. The team will be made up of Aaron Wade, Patrick O’Loughlin, Odhran Doogan, Ewan Warren and Dillon Corkery, who takes on the road captaincy. More>>>


FBD To Sponsor The Stage Winners Jersey
Cáirde Rás Tailteann is delighted to announce the return of FBD Insurance, as the sponsor of the coveted daily stage winner's jersey, each day during the 2023 race. FBD has a long and storied history with An Rás Tailteann. Having been the flagship sponsor of the event for many years up until 2010 when Alexander Wetterhall racing in the colours of Team Sprocket Pro took the overall honours on the last stage into Skerries. In the same year, German rider John Degenkolb took the points classification and two stage wins. Degenkolb went on to become one of the biggest names in world cycling, winning stages in le Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and la Vuelta a Espana. More>>>

Cáirde Rás Tailteann announces the support of Festina watches who continue their support in 2023 to present the winner of the country rider daily award with a Festina watch for their efforts.

Race Director Gerard Campbell observed “Cáirde Rás Tailteann are grateful that a well-known brand such as Festina has continued to acknowledge one of the most important elements of the race and in doing so acknowledge the efforts of our domestic county riders each day”.

Entries Open For Rás Tailteann 2023


Cáirde Rás Tailteann are delighted to announce that the entries for the 2023 Rás Tailteann will open today, Thursday, 16 March at 12PM and will remain open for 10 days until Sunday, 26 March at 12PM or until all allocated places have been filled, whichever is the earlier.

Cairde Rás Táilteann are delighted to announce details of the 2023 edition of the event. The race will again be a 5-day taking place from Wednesday, 17th of May to Sunday, 21st of May. Additional details of funding partners and sponsors will follow in due course. In general terms, this year’s edition features a tougher route than 2022 with lots of battlegrounds over the 5 stages.
